Yeah, I am. You can't out think me, out move me..........
In memoriam dob sometime in 1992 dod May 9th, 2007

Get it? By looking at moi, its pretty evident , Que Non?
Okay, it may be my 'genes' (No, not jeans) that makes me a clever girl, after all the Border Collies are the smartest, most trainable dogs on earth. I'm a mutt though, mixed with who knows what. Mom now thinks its Springer Spaniel for sure (I don't think so, cause i woulda been bigger), cause i jumped into the Frenchies Field pond in the middle of the winter and swam a round. I just did that cause I never had the opportunity, always having been a desert rat, you see, makes one want to experience more wetness, other than the noses (or butts, yuk) of other canines. Every time Mom sees us canines greeting rituals, she has to comment "sure glad people shake hands".......
I'm smart, cause i only went through minor training. I got bored with it, sighed a lot, and quit. Mom thought i'd gone stupid. (this is years ago & every once in awhile i surprise her by showing her i still remember) So, in other words, I'm not stupid, as a matter a fact, I can't even look dumb if i tried hard.... I am the Alpha Dog here, but, I never really show it to the others. That's good Doggie Management says Mom, who claims i'm a natural. No strange dogs ever come up to me to 'Tango' or they have a lesson to learn. The last time was a Female Rottweiler who really pissed me off. And though Mom interfered, she could have let me do my thing, cause IF it had gone south, I'd outrun that fat no tail dog and woulda had a great time running it into oblivia.... :) Mom freaked when the Rottweiler approached Ginger, and then, well, Mom showed her teeth, and that ain't no pleasure I tell you ....
I'm about 8 1/2yrs old at the time of this writing, and have lived in AZ, CO and NM. I've been in many places traveling around, but, i like it best in my spread at home and playing with Rockie and Buckie the neighbor boys is a lot of fun. Rockie still thinks I can conceive, so I'm letting him believe that.. :) Till he gets on my nerves, then, of course, its time to put him in his place too. Gee, who does that sound like???
My mom brought in a Great German Shepherd called it Zuni. He then became my bud, together with Ginger, of course, with which i lived with the past few months of my life as I slowed down . I must say life was good. I ran around a lot and not until about a month ago in April of 07, I started having health issues. Not bad at first, but Mom promised she would not ever let me suffer and poke me left and right to fix what can't be fixed, old age.
As always, she stuck to her word, and now I'm off to the Rainbow bridge where Ferris was waiting for me, I promise to watch over Mom and her brewd of dogs. All so great and lucky to be there. I had a great life, I brought great joy to my Mom and the other dogs learned a lot from me and my intelligence. I'm leaving behind a great doggie legacy. I know she'll miss me, Ginger too, and the others I hung out with a lot too, but I am the lucky one to be with Ferris, Grandpa Kas, and Mom, we'll keep our eye on you and our gang, and we'll see you in due time. Lots of love from us up here to you all down there, Miss Ya already!!!
